I also undertake any outdoor commission work. Please contact me for details. Photography is all about capturing the images of the moment, which then eventually, become nostalgic for most of us.
We all like looking back at photos we have taken years ago and reliving that moment in time.
We may have visited a place in the past, whether it is a town, village or a beauty spot or even a picturesque view while walking in the Yorkshire Dales.
It's true that most people don't carry a camera when they go on holiday. If they do, then they mostly take photos of their loved ones and miss out on the lovely views around them. In this website, I am capturing the images of the Yorkshire Dales, Towns & Villages so you can recapture the moment you visited these places and only wished you had a camera at the time to remind you of your visit.
The Towns & Villages we have visited in North Yorkshire are: Bolton Abbey, Conistone, Nr. Kilnsey, Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, Farnhill, Gargrave, Grassington, Hebden, Nr. Grassington, Kildwick, Linton, Nr. Grassington, Masham, Settle, Skipton, & Threshfield with more places to come.
The Towns & Villages we have visited in West Yorkshire are: The famous Bronte village of Haworth, the popular place of Sir Titus Salt Saltaire, Silsden & Steeton with more places to come.
Yorkshire Market Towns include: Grassington, Masham, Settle & Skipton with many more yet to be added.
Yorkshire Landscapes include the Airedale Valley and the Wharfedale Valley with more areas to be included in future.
We also have a section of Winter Scenes for those who like snow.
The very popular Keighley & Worth Valley Railway are also featured on the website.
We also have a Past and Present which looks at photos from yesteryear to the present day.
Spain is also featured heavily on the website due to its popularity as a holiday destination.
Finally we have our Events which will feature heavily in the future. 2009 events include: The Skipton Waterways Festival, Otley Show, Haworth 1940's Weekend, Manorlands Midnight Walk, The 21st Bradford Mela Festival, Haworth 1960's Weekend and the 1940's Day at the Rolls Royce, Barnoldswick.
I am also trying to recapture the same images as the famous Victorian photographer Francis Frith who sent a team of photographers out to photograph every Town & Village in the UK from the early part of the century up until the 1950's & 60's.

For those of you who are interested in the techincal side, my main camera is a Canon EOS 1D MkIII, backed up with a Canon 350d and I use Canon lenses which consists of a EF 24-105mm IS USM zoom lens, a EF 70-300mm IS USM zoom lens.
